Kansans are paying too much for their homes, their businesses, and their state government.
As Insurance Commissioner, Vicki lowered the cost of doing business in Kansas by $96 million by cutting red tape and taking on special interests. As Governor, she’ll bring that same approach to state government — streamlining operations so Kansas families and small businesses can keep more of what they earn.
The Legislature has been playing games with property taxes and proposing political gimmicks that just don’t work. Kansans need relief now.
Vicki and Joe will get the key stakeholders around the table to work on a plan that actually lowers property taxes without unfairly shifting the burden. They will work to ensure the state is consistent with its appraisal guidance and training to prevent inconsistent implementation statewide. Provide predictability for all taxpayers while committing to a partnership with local governments that encourages them to streamline their operations just like Vicki and Joe will do at the state level.
Quality of life drives our ability to compete with other states. Communities don’t survive or thrive without infrastructure, schools, healthcare, housing, labor and a grocery store.
As Governor, Vicki will work to ensure our economically diverse communities have the tools that will make them successful and help us grow all of Kansas. As Secretary of Agriculture, Joe will work with the administration on trade policies that will help open markets for Kansas products. When we strengthen agriculture, we strengthen Kansas.
As Big Tech makes its way into Kansas, we must protect our land, water and way of life.
Vicki and Joe will fight for more transparency in the local siting process, giving communities the time to assess the pros and cons. Ensure water quality and water quantity laws are being followed and establish guardrails to protect ratepayers from the increased costs of these large loads.
As a pharmacist and Insurance Commissioner, Vicki has spent her career fighting to make health care more affordable for Kansas families.
She stood up to Big Insurance, recovering more than $200 million for Kansans who were being cheated. She recently wrote legislation to stop pharmacy middlemen from driving up prescription costs and as Governor, she’ll keep fighting the special interests that stand between Kansans and the care they need.
Big Tech has no business raising Kansas kids. If social media is right for your child, you decide, not big corporations with agendas to push.
Vicki & Joe will ban social media companies from giving access to kids under 16 without their parents consent— putting parents, not algorithms, back in charge. They will rein in AI and Big Tech so Kansas values shape the future of our state.
Every Kansas student deserves a school that prepares them to be productive citizens in the real world, whether they’re heading to college, a trade, or directly into the Kansas workforce.
Vicki & Joe will reauthorize the school finance formula with updates to improve transparency and accountability while preserving local control and funding special education. Support collaboration with the business community to help students learn about opportunities here at home and for the future. Ensure that every student knows they have options when it comes to higher education – community college, technical school, independent colleges and universities.
Vicki has worked side-by-side with Kansas law enforcement to tackle the issues that affect every Kansas family. As Insurance Commissioner, she partnered with law enforcement to stop uninsured motorists who were driving up the cost of car insurance for everyone else and tackled financial fraud targeting Kansas seniors.
As Governor, she’ll keep backing the men and women of Kansas law enforcement — and the families they protect every day.
